Everything a short link should do

No dashboards full of numbers you will never use. The features here are the ones you reach for every week.

Instant short links

Paste a long URL and get a clean, shareable link back before you finish reading this sentence.

Custom aliases

Replace random characters with something people can actually remember and type.

Real click analytics

Countries, devices, browsers and referrers - not just a number that goes up.

Password protection

Put a password in front of a link when the destination is not for everyone.

Expiry and click caps

Let a campaign link retire on its own date, or after a set number of clicks.

QR codes

Every link comes with a QR code you can download as PNG or SVG for print.

Three steps, about a minute

  1. Step 1

    Paste your URL

Drop in any long link, add a title and an alias if you want one.

  2. Step 2

    Share it anywhere

Social posts, emails, print, packaging - the link works everywhere.

  3. Step 3

    Watch what happens

See who clicked, from where, on what device, and when.

Analytics that answer real questions

Which post drove the traffic? Are people on mobile? Did the Tuesday send beat the Friday one? Every link answers those without a spreadsheet.

  • Clicks over time, by day or by month
  • Country, city, device, browser and OS breakdowns
  • Referrer sources so you know which channel worked
  • Unique visitors separated from repeat clicks
  • Automated bot traffic kept out of your headline numbers

Questions, answered

Yes. The Free plan covers 25 links with 7 days of analytics history, and it does not expire.

Custom aliases are available on Pro and Business. Reserved words and anything that would clash with a LinkShort page are blocked.

Country, device, browser, operating system and referring site. IP addresses are hashed before they are stored and are never shown to anyone, including us.

Yes. The short code stays the same and the destination can be edited at any time, which is why we redirect with a 302 rather than a permanent redirect.

Visitors see a clear expiry page instead of a broken redirect, and the click is not counted.

We block known bad domains and act on abuse reports quickly. We do not claim a URL is safe unless it has actually been checked by a security service.
